Adjustments for Free/Pro-Users

Polygon/Fantom now available for Free Users

We closely observed the liquidity flow from BSC to other Layer 1 solutions in the last months. Going forward, Free users will now be able to use yieldwatch.net on Polygon and Fantom, however with limited functionality. This will open our services to users that haven’t been involved in the early farming days on BSC and therefore didn’t try our product yet.

Stronger Differentiation Pro/Free

While bringing Polygon and Fantom to free users, we also opted to make more stats available exclusively to yieldwatch Pro Users. In line with competitors offerings, basic stats and pool infos are still available for free, more detailed & yieldwatch’s unique info do require PRO access going forward. We think that this represents a fair balance between paid and free information. We strongly believe that this decision will be much appreciated by existing PRO users as well general $WATCH token holders. The two images below give you an indication on what has changed.

Multi-Chain Tab

The integration of Fantom also inspired us to improve the UX and display all supported chains at once. This feature is exclusively available for PRO users, Free Users will still need to select the desired chain individually.

Performance Tab

Another cool feature for PRO users. This new tab shows you the projected hourly/daily/weekly/yearly gains based on the current APRs with a breakdown where exactly you are generating your yield.

Burning of Liquidity Reserve Cross-Chain Tokens

After successfully introducing token bridges between BSC, Polygon and Fantom via our friends at multichain.org, we had the pleasure to burn 1,200,000 $WATCH tokens or 6% of the Total Supply as outlined in our original plans.

You can find the burn transaction here, which reduces the Total Supply to 18,800,000 $WATCH.
